The most awaited MARGAZHI RAAGAM...!!

Carnatic music moves beyond its boundaries...

There are rare times when a classical art form moves past its well etched boundaries to present itself in a new medium with added sparkle and sheen. For Carnatic music this is that moment; the moment when timeless tradition chooses to don the attire of the times. The Kutcherry or the Carnatic Concert has now embraced the magic of cinema. For the first time ever, classical music of South India will beckon music lovers across the world from the silver screen - Margazhi Raagam.

The Artists
Renownwd carbatic musicians Bombay Jayashri and T.M.Krishna are the performing stars of "Margazhi Raga"

"Margazhi Raagam" ---> enjoy carnatic music like never before!!

i still hear in my ears the songs and music from naratha ghana saba and the saba you find at end of thanjavur street near dhuraisami subway. I used to walk through those streets during december months. Ofcourse thiruvaiyaru was feast of the ragas. fortunate i was close to thiruvaiyar to attend a couple of concert though i have no clue on the abcd of carnatic. Surprsing everyone in the family sings except me.

I did start the basics under the guidance of my sis but she said it is better i dont kill carnatic. I have such a bad vocal. Other wise i did learn few keerthani as i my sis picked up. Once in school i was singing in a competition and the staff said please get down the stage we cant bear any more. No jokes it did really happen - I was in +1
